Burlington dancers taking on the world in Germany

Two local Abbotsford dancers are among those representing Canada this week in the World Dance Championships in Reisa, Germany.

Natasha Orchison, 14, from Abbotsford Dance Centre and Alexis Harper, 11, from Dance In Motion are among several local dancers who auditioned and were selected for the championships.  See The Abbotsford News article here!

Mission dancer lands lead role on Family Channel's The Next Step.  In 2015 Liam Mackie was a big part of Team Canada that won the silver medal at the World Hip Hop Championships in Italy.  He was also part of the 2014 team that finished fourth in Germany.  See the Mission City Record article here!

World silver on tap for Waterdown-led junior Canadian dance team in Germany

Dancemakerz studio owner Christie McKay-Hofland led the Junior Canadian Tap Team to silver on the World Stage in Riesa, Germany this month

Last month, December 4th through 8th, the 2012 IDO World Tap Dance Championships took place is Riesa, Germany. Several Canadians took to the stage in a variety of categories for children, juniors and adults, including male and female solos, duos, trios, small groups, formations and large production.
