IN-PERSON AUDITION
Please arrive at least 45-60 mins before the start of the audition to check in and
pay your fee in cash.
If you pre-registered, you still need to check in and pay unless you hold a
FREE AUDITION ticket.
Auditions are workshop style, meaning that you will be taught a combination then asked to perform it in a smaller group. You do not need to prepare anything in advance.
Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and tap shoes.
CASTING CATEGORIES
Formation Children (9-12yrs)
Formation Junior (13-16 yrs)
Formation Adult (17 & over)
*All dancers will be a part of Formation which is a large group (8-24 dancers). Dancers also have the opportunity to dance all together in the Production
From the chosen Formation dancers, we *may choose dancers for
- Small group. We may only choose dancers for 1-3 small groups per age
- Trio. We will only choose for 1-2 trios per age division
- Duo. We will only choose for 1-2 duos per age division
- Solo. We will only choose for 1-2 solo positions per age division
Please contact us immediately if you were awarded a Golden Ticket and are interested in the 2025 team
RESULTS
Results for CHILDREN will be available up to 7 days after the audition. Dancers may be asked back for a second look.
Results for JUNIOR & ADULT (13 & over) will be available up to 7 days after the FINAL MARCH AUDITION due to limited spaces on these teams.
If you attend the FEBRUARY AUDITION, you may not receive your results for ages 13 & over until AFTER the MARCH audition, up until March 23, 2025.
We will notify EVERYONE whether they made the team or not by the registered email on file.

In-person auditions are always preferred and chosen first as the choreographer would like to see you work in person and doing their choreography*video audition for pre -approved only - we will not take any video auditions at this time until after all in-person auditions have concluded

- e-transfer your $40 fee
- send video or video link. All formats accepted. Video of a recent competition routine or film something with your phone. Show us what you can do! Great footwork is important but so is stage presence.
- send a headshot - it can just be a pic on your phone or any pic you have that shows at least from head to waist. It doesn't have to be a dance pic. This is a reference pic.

We would love to bring an Adult 2 team to Prague this year! If you know anyone who is interested, please email us. We need to know by April 1 to reserve rooms.
We can bring a Formation (8-24 dancers) or Small Group (4-7 dancers).
CHOREO AND REHEARSAL DATES
ALL INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED ON YOUR TEAM MEMBER PAGE and/or TEAM SNAP.
DANCERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL REHEARSAL DATES. SOME DATES MAY NOT APPLY. THE TENTATIVE DATES ARE :
- APRIL 18-21 *not everyone starts - Adult Tap is confirmed to begin
- MAY 17-19 *not everyone starts - Adult Tap is confirmed
- JULY 13-19 *everyone starts
- AUG 4-10
- AUG 20-24
- SEPTEMBER 14, 21, 28
- OCTOBER 13th - ONTARIO SHOWCASE @ Living Arts Centre
The official rehearsal schedule will be sent out AFTER the results and once the TEAM IS ESTABLISHED. We need to form the team before making the schedule. All rehearsals will be in the Greater Toronto area.
