*All ages Battle & Solos/Freestyle auditions at 2:00 pm will include Popping solo/duo, Hip Hop solo/duo, and All-Style Battle
If auditioning for choreo teams AND freestyle, you need to attend -both- the choreographed hip hop audition suited for your age AND the freestyle audition. You need to pay only ONE audition fee.
IN-PERSON AUDITION
Please arrive at least 15-30 mins before the start of the audition to check in and pay your fee in cash. If you registered, then we will have that information, however, you still need to check in.
Auditions are workshop style, meaning that you will be taught a combination then asked to perform it in a smaller group. You do not need to prepare anything in advance unless you are participating in the solo/duo audition.
Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and clean indoor suitable shoes
The Popping/Battle audition will be done in battle format so you will be asked to free-style to a variety of music. This is a GREAT way to show off and/or improve your skills. See bellow for more info.

VIDEO AUDITION
*VIDEO AUDITION for pre -approved only - with valid reason for missing in-person audition. A fee of $45 will apply.

AUDITION CASTING:
- HIP HOP: Choreographed hip hop duo, small group, and formation (large group)
- HIP HOP: Freestyle soloists
- POPPING: Freestyle popping soloists and choreographed duo*
- BATTLE: All-style freestyle soloists* and all-style freestyle battle crew* .**
- BREAKDANCING: For those dances accepted on a Hip Hop group and want to stay for breaking battle
*all-style battles include music where multiple street-styles are expected such as Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, House, Afro, etc*
**freestyle CREWS must be capable of learning choreography , as a routine showcasing multiple styles is required for prelim round

Fees will not include:
- Flights - Team Canada will offer both 'team' and individual flight options
- Choreography/Coaching - This fee goes to the choreographers and rehearsal coaches must be paid in cash during choreography week.
- Extra Groups/Solo/Duo - If you are selected for a small group, there is another choreography charge determined by the choreographer and must be paid in cash during the first 'extra group' rehearsal.
- All routines are subject to additional costume charges which will be through the choreographer
- Travel, health, and cancellation insurance.
- Any local travel for rehearsals and Canadian airport, etc. Dancers may be able to 'bunk' with a local dancer on the team if they need lodging.
- Meals and leisure in Slovenia (except breakfast), but there will be at least one mixer included

CHOREO AND REHEARSAL DATES
ALL INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED ON YOUR TEAM MEMBER PAGE and/or TEAM SNAP.
DANCERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR *ALL* REHEARSAL DATES. THE TENTATIVE DATES ARE :

*** All above dates may not be used for each team, however, availability is important. The official rehearsal schedule will be sent out after team is formed. All rehearsals will be in the Greater Vancouver area (GVA)
