Team Canada Dance is a non-profit.  Most of the Travel Fees that dancers and families pay to travel to the competitions pay for the travelling:  airfare, hotel, transportation, entry fees, IDO license, the choreographer to travel with team, and team jackets.  We only take a very small portion of that to use towards administration costs.  The 2020 season barely started when we were forced to cancel all remaining auditions and any teams to travel.  Therefore, we continue in incur costs but have no income from 2020, and 2021 yet.  Any support is greatly appreciate to help us continue to support our dancers.  

We continue to seek government grants to support our dancers, however, it is difficult to get funding for the arts.  If we were recognized as a sport, it would be far easier!  We are continue to seek that support - we strongly believe that all qualified dancers should be allowed to take part, despite income.  

100% of your donation will go towards a dancer's travel fees and/or choreography fees for those who need financial assistance to participate - unless you otherwise state who you want your money to go to.
