The Competition and Workshops will take place July 19-25 in Monterrey, Mexico
*a decision will be made Feb. 1, 2021 to determine whether COVID-19 situations & restrictions will allow for an international competition in July, 2021.
This is a World Cup, sanctioned by IDO. This means that you can enter as many disciplines as you wish - we are not limited to 3 entries per nation like the World Championships.
All Performing Arts disciplines include:
Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern/Contemporary, Show Dance, Acro, and Ethnic/Folk. These categories are run like our own competitions, where a dancer dances once and is placed. Video Judge will be used.
Streetdance includes:
Hip Hop, Electric Boogie (Popping), Breakdancing, Disco, and Streetdance Show. These categories are done IDO style where dancers dance in a elimination/battle format. This will be recorded, however, there will be no Video Judge commentary.
Ballroom includes:
Salsa Couples, Salsa Groups, Merengue, Discofox/Hustle. These will be competing with IDO rules. This will be recorded as well.
Entry fees will be available soon.
